Space Shuttle Discovery in the Vehicle Assembly Building

A last visit to see Space Shuttle Discovery in its final week of temporary storage in High Bay 4 of the VAB before leaving Kennedy Space Center for good to become a permanent exhibit at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC. The Astrovan has been brought in to keep Discovery company. The Astrovan transported the astronauts during the Space Shuttle Program to the launch pad on launch day.
