| Space shuttle Atlantis returns to Kennedy Space Center atop the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft on 2 June 2009. Atlantis was forced to land at Edwards Air Force Base in California on 24 May 2009 because of bad weather in Florida. This ends mission STS-125, a flight to repair and upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope. These two pages of images were all taken at Patrick Air Force Base between 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. during a low altitude flyby to show off Atlantis. < < < back to Page One of Two | |
