A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched 47 Starlink satellites to low Earth orbit from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at Kennedy Space Center at 9:25 a.m. on 3 March 2022.

The first stage booster supporting this mission previously launched GPS III-3, Turksat-5A, Transporter 2, and seven Starlink missions. Following stage separation, Falcon 9’s first stage landed on the Just Read the Instructions droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

The first stage falls away while the second stage continues on into orbit.
The first stage at left begins maneuvering for the droneship landing. One of the two payload fairings can be seen as a bright dot below the second stage. The fairings will parachute into the ocean to be retrieved and used again.
