A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched 60 Starlink satellites from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 2:59 p.m. on 26 May 2021. Following stage separation, SpaceX landed Falcon 9’s first stage on the Just Read the Instructions droneship located in the Atlantic Ocean.

Falcon 9’s first stage booster previously supported the Sentinel-6A mission. One half of Falcon 9’s fairing previously supported four Starlink missions, and the other previously supported a Starlink mission and the Transporter-1 mission.

The Starlink satellites will eventually form a constellation around the Earth providing global satellite-based internet access.

The launch seen through excessive heat distortion
Just visible is the ignition of the second stage and the first stage maneuvering away, which can barely be seen to the right/upper right of the brighter second stage engine firing.
