A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches 60 Starlink satellites into orbit on the twelfth Starlink mission at 8:46 a.m. on 3 September 2020 from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center. Falcon 9’s first stage previously supported launch of the GPS III Space Vehicle 03 mission in June 2020. Following stage separation, SpaceX landed Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. The Starlink satellites will eventually form a constellation around the Earth providing global satellite-based internet access. |
