| A United Launch Alliance Atlas V 551 rocket, configured with five side-mounted solid rocket boosters and a medium-length payload fairing, launched the Amazon Leo 5 mission into orbit from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 1:46 a.m. on 4 April 2026. The Atlas V rocket carried 29 operational broadband satellites for the Amazon Leo constellation, bringing the total number of satellites launched by ULA to 139. This mission carried the most satellites and the heaviest payload ever launched on an Atlas V rocket. | |
