| Today is a very windy and chilly day heralding the approach of another cold front. The pine tree holding the nest sways back and forth but withstands the onslaught. The nest itself seems to solidly resist the forces tearing at it. A new addition, either recently brought to the nest or an old item re-exposed during nest building is the yellow rope shown here hanging over the side. | |

The female Osprey stayed huddled behind the lee of a limb to try and escape the fierce wind blowing. |
| The male Osprey seemed to enjoy the high winds. He made several trips into the air to kite around over the nest, rarely flapping his wings but, rather, letting the winds keep him aloft. | |
